Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Front hitch receiver on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now your front hitch is gonna be a two inch by two inch, which means that there's gonna be plenty of options available as far as either putting a ball mount, a winch, a cargo carrier, or a bike rack. Now all of these accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the front hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with one. Now if you want to pick up an extra or a locking one, we have those available here at etrailer, and that way you can leave your accessories loaded on, locked in place, and no one can walk away with them. No matter what accessory you're gonna be loading up, you do want to adhere to the weight capacities and if you're using a winch, this does have a line pull of 9,000 pounds, but all of your cargo weight or anything that's gonna be supported on your front hitch like your cargo carriers, or bike racks, or winches, are going to have a 500 pound capacity. more

Hi there Chevrolet owners. Today on your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's front hitch. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. It's a two inch by two inch receiver so it's going to work great with a lot of different accessories whether you're wanting to put an over-the-cab extender in the front here, or maybe a winch plate on the front for an easy installation of a winch. Just slide that in there. Or maybe depending on where your layout is where you park your trailer you have a difficult time backing up to get the trailer into place, and sometimes maneuvering around just in your, right around your home hooking up a ball here in the front can make it a lot easier to get a trailer into a certain location. more

Hey everybody. Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Hidden front mount trailer hitch here on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. So here's what our trailer hitch is going to look like installed here. The majority of it is actually going to be tucked up behind our front bumper facia here. So the only thing we're really going to be seeing is the actual receiver tube. Now, with this hidden install, obviously we're going to get the best overall appearance, but we're also not going to reduce our ground clearance near as much. more

Today, 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be taking a look at. I'm going to show you how to install a drop type, front mount, trailer hitch receiver.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing here we can see, is going to be our receiver tube.This front mount hitch is going to have a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. It's going to have a reinforced collar to give it a little extra stability on the receiver tube. Hitch pin hole, which is this hole here. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31071.Here's what our front hitch looks like once we have it installed. The cross tube is gonna hidden by the air dam below here and our receiver tube is gonna be sticking out right below our license plate. Our hitch is gonna offer us a two inch by two inch receiving tube opening so it's gonna have a lot of different options and accessories that we can mount up. And the way we're gonna mount any of those accessories is gonna be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. And it is gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. Now these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick them up here along with some locking devices to keep your accessories safe.So whether you're using your front hitch for a snowplow or a wench or any other accessory, it's gonna have plenty of weight capacity. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be installing Curt's Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31071.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, it's tucked up underneath our front bumper, so you're really only going to be able to see the receiver tube and it's tucked back far enough where you almost don't even notice it's there. It's got a 2" x 2" receiver end, so it'll work with any of your favorite accessories such as winch plates, snow plows, or over-the-bed extenders. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. One doesn't come included, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com with part number PC3.It has a 500 pound tongue weight, a 5000 pound gross towing capacity, and a 9000 pound straight line pull. Now to help you when deciding on accessories, I've got a few measurements for you. more

Best 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Front Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best front hitch options for you 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Up top we've got the Curt, part number C31071. Then on the bottom we got the Draw Tite, part number 65068. The biggest difference that we're going to see between these two hitches is going to be when mounted on the truck where the receiver tube is going to be located. On the Draw Tite, it's going to give us a higher ground clearance, and it's going to come further out towards the front of the bumper, so it's going to give us more clearance with our accessories away from that front bumper. We've got a Curt mounted on this truck here and as you can see it comes out nicely underneath the fascia to where it's tucked up tight. The Draw Tite would come out up here right about the center of the license plate bracket, and so if you do have a license plate on the front of your truck, it would need to be relocated. There are a couple of different options. You can get the Draw Tite fixed bracket, part number 5443, or the Draw Tite fold down license plate bracket, part number 8802. There's going to be benefits to each hitch, because of where they come out, and the clearance that they give us depending on the accessories that you're going to be using. more

Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 - Curt- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31071. Here's what this front hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the truck. As you can see, it tucks up nicely to the underside of this front fascia down here. You're going to have really easy access in order to use your hitch with any accessories that you may have. It features a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with nice welded on reinforcement collar. It features the 5/8 inch hitch pin hole in order to secure any class 3 accessories. This front hitch is a nice, easy bolt on application. more
